Question-first: I have a substantive research question.

Research Workspaces

Begin with a substantive question, discover existing evidence and continue into the established tools. No answers, new estimates or findings are generated here.

Inflation & Monetary Policy

Inspect inflation, interest-rate and real-economy trajectories side by side, distinguishing observed rates, identified shocks and descriptive event context.

Countries: Poland, Hungary, Czechia, Slovakia, Germany, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia, Austria, Croatia

Available coverage: 2000–2026-08. Observed endpoints across relevant evidence; not coverage of every indicator.

Evidence types: official indicators, verified events, regional records and existing methods.

Reduced-form VAR retains existing coefficient estimation only; formal dynamic-response and IRF publication are unavailable.

Trade Structure & External Exposure

Inspect exports, imports, partner composition and concentration, then check definitions in the trade network and original sources.

Countries: Poland, Hungary, Czechia, Slovakia, Germany, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia, Austria, Croatia

Available coverage: 2000–2025. Observed endpoints across relevant evidence; not coverage of every indicator.

Evidence types: official indicators, verified events, regional records and existing methods.

Concentration is a descriptive trade measure, not an automatic inference of political dependency or geopolitical judgments. Project locations are not identified economic effects.

Fiscal & Macroeconomic Conditions

Inspect the time evolution and comparable definitions of balances, debt, growth and employment without ranking countries.

Countries: Poland, Hungary, Czechia, Slovakia, Germany, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia, Austria, Croatia

Available coverage: 2000–2025. Observed endpoints across relevant evidence; not coverage of every indicator.

Evidence types: official indicators, verified events, regional records and existing methods.

Composite indicators are transparently constructed scores, not objective national-performance rankings. Fixed-effects association is not causal identification; missing or non-comparable annual observations remain excluded.

Regional Development & Divergence

Inspect regional population, output and labour-market distributions within their original classifications and geography vintages using the existing regional map.

Countries: Poland, Hungary, Czechia, Slovakia, Germany, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia, Austria, Croatia

Available coverage: 2000–2025. Observed endpoints across relevant evidence; not coverage of every indicator.

Evidence types: official indicators, verified events, regional records and existing methods.

Preserve geography vintages and do not join incompatible historical boundaries. Serbia NSTJ is not relabelled as EU NUTS. Choropleth colours show factual measures, not development scores.

Countries

Ten country profiles with official observations and source links.

Data Explorer

Compare observations, inspect provenance and export descriptive research snapshots.

Regional map

Explore spatial facts without turning missing observations into zeros.

Models

Review model inputs, outputs, availability and limits.

Events

Structured events and links to original reporting.

Methodology

Understand comparability, data status and the limits of formal inference.

Evidence and interpretation

Descriptive comparisons do not identify causal effects. Conditional scenarios are assumption-based illustrations, not predictions. VAR coefficient estimation is available, but the finite-sample residual publication gate is not validated; formal dynamic responses and impulse response functions are unavailable. LP and Panel LP remain subject to their existing inference and sample limitations.
