Boundary data licences — Central Europe Political Atlas The ADM1 files in /geo/adm1/ and the simplified country outlines in /geo/home-countries-simplified.geojson (derived from them by scripts/build-home-country-map.mjs) come from geoBoundaries gbOpen (www.geoboundaries.org; Runfola et al. 2020, PLoS ONE 15(4): e0231866). Per-boundary licences, as stated in the geoBoundaries API metadata (read 2026-10-04): Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, Croatia Source: OpenStreetMap (via geoBoundaries / Wambacher) © OpenStreetMap contributors. Each country feature keeps its own source and licence (feature properties boundary_source / boundary_license); the file is a collection of separately licensed features, not a merged database. The regional maps use Eurostat/GISCO NUTS 2024 (© EuroGeographics) for all countries except Poland, whose administrative layer uses the geoBoundaries ODbL boundaries above (files in /data/boundaries/v086/).
