Coverage is computed from existing non-missing records. Each indicator, country and layer may have different endpoints and internal gaps. Historical layers do not enter formal models.

Partner concentration, trade exposure and composition; the existing network tool verifies its available years.

Annual economic evidence cards provide country-specific source links. Regional Trade Benchmark and Annual Macroeconomic Comparison are separate multi-country tools, each retaining period, unit and comparability gates; they are not a combined dataset.

5. What regional evidence exists?

Historical descriptive layers available where recorded; breaks remain excluded from continuous comparisons. Historical regional records open their archive, not an unsupported historical map period. Project records preserve original provenance and location confidence; no investment-effect inference.

Trade network analysis

Describe bilateral goods-trade partner concentration using complete 2015–2025 partner edges for ten countries (UN Comtrade TOTAL goods, imports and exports). Outputs include HHI, leading partners, China and Germany shares, and diversification measures.

Existing limitation

Concentration measures are not general centrality. Betweenness, eigenvector centrality and PageRank remain deferred until a complete regional graph is defined.
Centrality is not political influence, concentration is not risk, and China's trade share is not political dependence.

Descriptive event-window analysis

Describe monthly indicator changes around verified events: pre-event means, event-period values, post-event means and differences. This is not causal identification.

Existing limitation

Only changes near an event are described; no causal effects or impacts are estimated.
Complete windows require at least 12 pre-event monthly observations and 6 genuinely post-event observations. Shorter windows are labelled exploratory.

7. What cannot be concluded?

Descriptive co-movement does not identify causality. Missing values are never zero-filled; different definitions, units and statistical populations are not joined.
Concentration is a descriptive trade measure, not an automatic inference of political dependency or geopolitical judgments. Project locations are not identified economic effects.
